ladyangie82 @badamom3 It was the weirdest experience. I got a USPS note in my mailbox that they tried to delivered it but no one was home. So they left a note for me to go get it. I went to post office and the USPS guy told me I had to pay $99 cause of the size of the box and I was but why?

ladyangie82 @badamom3 And he said if you don't want to pay this just refuse it and I said of course I will. But the note didn't said that. It said it needed someone to sign cause it was an item worth more than $99. I just bought a Jacky Kennedy doll and was delivered fine in the Franklin Mint original box but through UPS without any issues. I was super sad by arguing with the USPS people it's impossible

badamom3 @anyelilopez that makes no sense - you already paid for it. I will see if I can mail it out again UPS. I used the slip that Poshmark provided - I will forward this conversation to them - I’m sorry - I thought something was wrong with the doll

ladyangie82 I'm sure nothing it's wrong with the doll, I bought it for my mom, and I was super happy it had made it before Mother's day. I explained her and she told me that's crazy cause I just bought Jacky Kennedy for her through mercaro the lady used UPS and came without any problem.

badamom3 I just saw this, I have no idea why this is happening. I contacted POSHMARK about it, I upgraded the delivery. Is the money for shipment?

badamom3 From what I can read it says that there was no secure location for it to be left, so if they want more money, I guess just refuse delivery, this has never happened before.

ladyangie82 @badamom3 I contacted Postmark customer service and I was able to send them the note where it says I need to pay $90, but online it shows like you said. I'll come to post office tomorrow and I will try to talk to someone there if they insist I need to pay that, I will take a picture and I'll refuse to take it.

ladyangie82 Thanks for reaching out to us. We apologize for any inconvenience the additional postage issue may be causing. When the delivery service requires additional postage, your seller may have mistakenly shipped your item in the wrong type of packaging or the order may be overweight.

ladyangie82 If you do not want to pay the additional postage fees, we understand. Please refuse the order and it will be sent back to the seller, who will need to repackage the item properly and request a new shipping label.

badamom3 I honestly don't understand, I upgraded the shipping. I am so sorry this has happened, it has never happened to me before. I will contact POSHMARK, just refuse the delivery. I wouldn't expect you to pay for more shipping, that is mine and Postmarks responsibility.

badamom3 I contacted POSHMARK again, the problem is that we are moving and I'm probably just going to put a hold on my shop because I will be putting all the dolls into storage until we build a house. I will keep this one out on the chance that we can figure things out. Once again, I apologize for all the problems.

badamom3 Good morning, I was wondering if this issue was ever resolved. I told you that we were moving and I am just now getting things in order. I know you didn't purchase the doll because of the issues but do you know what happened to it? Was it returned to me? I never received it. I know this isn't your fault, I just don't know what happened to the doll.

ladyangie82 @badamom3 Good morning! I just saw this. The order got canceled and in the USPS notification the last thing it showed was : If this item is unclaimed by June 5, 2022 then it will be returned to sender.

badamom3 Yes, and they did pay me for the doll. However, it was never sent back, so I'm not sure where Marilyn is right now. We have moved from that address but if she does come back to me I'm sure the new owners will give me a call. Sorry it didn't work out, the doll was/is really nice. I just hope she wasn't broken or destroyed.
