gloriousdebris Hello and thank you for your offer on the Steiger Mukluks. These are client item, so I need to be fair to her with pricing. The offer I sent is the lowest I can go with fees taken in to account. Thank you for your understanding!

aheki @gloriousdebris okay, I’m considering if I can swing it. Do you know when they were purchased, and if it’s the old soles or the new soles? Thanks!

gloriousdebris
gloriousdebris @aheki I am not sure of the exact purchase date. They are not the new soles, but she never had a problem with them. Patti Steger recommends Ice Stabilizers or Yak Trak be worn with the old or new treads if you are wearing them in slippery conditions.

aheki @gloriousdebris Okay, thanks. Still considering. Would you be able to measure both the soles and the insoles (length and width) so I can just double check that they’re going to fit okay?

gloriousdebris
gloriousdebris @aheki Sure. I can do that as soon as I get a chance today.

gloriousdebris @aheki Insoles are 10” x 3 1/4” at the widest part of the foot. Boots are 10 1/2” long and 3 3/4” at the widest part of the foot. Side note. They are very flexible so I can’t imagine how the new soles are more flexible! The sides of the soles flex out over the bottom to accommodate bulkier socks also.

aheki @gloriousdebris Okay, thanks! That’s helpful. Yeah, I actually wanted the old soles because I’ve heard people who purchased the new say that they are more rigid and inflexible. I’m going to go ahead- I’ve been trying to find these for a while. Thanks for all your help!
