aprilyoingco @noynoca no I haven’t .i don’t really know how things work on here. My co work bought an LV bag and a wallet and she didn’t have any problem at all. She said to go and try it since im eager to buy LV or Gucci so i did but i just got scammed maybe. I texted her and she hasn’t text me back

noynoca @aprilyoingco You will need to open a case. When you go to “my purchases” click on the item and there will be an option to open a case. You can then add a description of the problem and photos of the bag and Poshmark will review the case. When you say text the seller do you mean that you are talking to her outside of Poshmark?

aprilyoingco @noynoca she asked my number so i give it to her. So we were talking by texts and i paid her through zelle . But I purchased the item through posh mark to authenticate the item. Is that how it works on here?

noynoca @aprilyoingco Hmmm. I’m a little confused because payments need to go through Poshmark. The seller will not get their money until after the buyer accepts the item. So if you paid her through Zelle it sounds like the transaction did not go through Poshmark. It is against Poshmark policy to make sales/contact outside of the app or website. I’m not sure how the buyer had the item authenticated if the sale was not done through the Poshmark? Can you see the sale listed under “my purchases?”

See below for the policy. “Purchasing or selling an item listed on Poshmark using any means other than Poshmark checkout is called an "offline transaction" and is prohibited”

aprilyoingco @noynoca i don’t see “ my purchases “ you are talking about. Where do i see that? I’m sorry im super new around here. She told me to click the item because it’s ready o purchase so I did and pay 3$ and handling and shipping so its 10$ something together. Then i paid the bag for 500$ through zelle

noynoca @aprilyoingco So what she did is against Poshmark policy. She was avoiding Poshmark taking their fee from her profits. To see your purchases on the app on your phone you need to click on the lower right where you see your username. From there a menu will pull up and you should see your purchases. At that point you can open a case. You can also contact Posh directly at support@poshmark.com. Regretfully it does sound like she scammed you.

aprilyoingco @noynoca ok I see it now. It says purchase and the bag is there. The order status says awaiting shipping. I thought this is an easy but to me it’s confusing lol

noynoca @aprilyoingco In that same section where “my purchases” is there is a “my payment methods” section. You can add in your credit/debit card there.
