Meet your Posher, Ari

Hi! I'm Ari. Thanks for stopping by! I am a fashion designer, trying to make, tailor, or upcycle (i.e. embroider or alter thrifted items) all of the clothes in my personal closet. I'm beginning my Poshmark journey in order to unload clothes that I haven't made or haven't worn in a long time, and to clear out space for new stuff! Recently made my own wedding dress out of some thrifted curtains and donated buttons (pictured here). Size-wise I'm skinny (size 4-6) and tall (5'9") but I enjoy wearing baggy tops. I believe strongly in the act of keeping used clothes out of landfills, and recreating or passing along garments to keep wardrobes feeling fresh and fun. I also am striving to find ways to do LOCAL fashion as much as possible. If you live it DC or the DMV area and are interested in any of my items and want to pick them up instead of receiving packages, let me know!
