thymetraveler @latachic Yay! I'm so happy I can be helpful! At the top of your closet, you see a bunch of numbers. 34 listings, 24 shares, 321 followers, 45 following. Compare the numbers to mine..

thymetraveler Most important difference is the number of shares & the number of people you're following. 321 followers means that when you post and share a listing, only 321 people have the chance of seeing it. Some of those will say it's not their style, others will be busy or not scroll far enough, not the right size etc.

thymetraveler Compared to 30 thousand followers, bam, you're bound to get more sales. The way you get followers is by "following" other people. So, I do a ton of following. Another thing I do is I go to "find people" on the app, and I follow all posh ambassadors. That's because you'll get more followers by being on their following list.

thymetraveler "Sharing" your items is important because it dictates if you are at the top of search results or at the bottom. I literally share all my items 1-3 times a day. It's a lot.

thymetraveler Sharing other people's items is helpful because people will share your items back. Which means more publicity for you because your item gets seen by all their followers. It also brings a posher to your closet, for the purpose of sharing.. but along the way they might find something they like!

thymetraveler You can also share your items or other people's items to a "posh party" of it matches the party theme. Parties are great because millions of people attend them, so that's a way for even more people to see your item. And you might win host pick, then you'll really have your item publicized if they pick it!

thymetraveler I also recently discovered that if I find an item I like, and a ton of other people like the item.. I can bring up that list and follow all those people.. and then if I share their items too, it essentially draws people who will like my taste to my page.

thymetraveler You can achieve similar results (of finding followers with your similar taste) by searching to find people of your same size, brands, clothing type, and colors. Pretty cool! Do that via the "find people" tab on app.

latachic I have never attended any parties yet just because I thought I still have not enough listings yet, but will do soon. Thank you for your advice and tips, I literally having trouble understanding how this works but I'm so happy for giving me some hope! Literally, will follow your advice😊

thymetraveler It's really important the top ones are pretty, and that they represent your closet in general.. because buyers who come to your closet will decide within 4 items and 4 seconds whether they want to scroll down to see the rest, or leave. So people who have plain jeans first, and the tops, jewelry and dresses stuck way down there.. they don't get as much success because people don't feel intrigued to look further.

thymetraveler Also, I learned that pictures that aren't pretty enough to get shared on Pinterest or twitter, well, they just don't get sold because no one wants to share them. I don't think you have that issue but it's handy to know.

thymetraveler @latachic Another tip, following new posters - people who just joined or just set up a closet- that is very effective because they are likely mostly a buyer right now. And people start out with 0 followers, 0 following, so if you catch someone when they've just joined and they follow you back.. that would result in your items being all over their newsfeed when you share, simply because they're not following many people.

thymetraveler I bet that was frustrating before. 😙😙💕 Glad I can help!! Also, go to your sharing settings to double check that your items show up in Google searches. I also found that my items show up in more search results if I give great descriptions.. including words like ruffle, shimmer, boat neck, runching, flattering, etc. Because people do search those words.

latachic @thymetraveler Hi thete🤗 yes I am following new people too, I think it's a great strategy! How do you share multiple items? Do you just the click the item individually? I use my phone which is also a touch screen.Yes I'm working on my tags too.One of my kids had no school for the last 2days so I didn't list a lot.Thanks again so much, I'm beginning to understand😊
