ladyjbuggi @ash_bee_c Hi there! No need to say sorry. Tricks of the trade 🙏🏾 Sharing does exactly what you said, exposes your closet to more closets. When you share, the listing is posted in your followers news feed as well as is refreshed to the top page of whatever category your item is in. Ie A fashion nova dress that I just recently shared will now be displayed as one of the first few listings on the Fashion Nova page.

ladyjbuggi @ash_bee_c Sharing other peoples listings will get them to share yours which means, they are sharing your items with THEIR followers which probably has 10,000+ people on their network that you aren’t friends with. Following people gives you exposure as well. The more people you follow, the more people to view your listings

ladyjbuggi Oooh! And you can gain more followers by sharing others listings and taking the initiative to follow others. You can also share this listing to gain more follows. Also, I don’t do this but a lot of people promote their closets on other people’s bios (this post right here is your bio/about you listing).

ladyjbuggi I don’t because of personal reasons. I simply enjoy being genuine about how I approach others by just giving a warm welcome. Starting of is different for everyone (buyers and sellers) so I like to let people know they’re welcome to communicate 😊👍🏾

ash_bee_c @ladyjbuggi you rock!! How do I find people to follow? Just looking at listings?? I can’t believe how many followers some people have! But I’m sure they’ve been doing it for a while, and have lots of items for sale! I’m not trying to make this a big thing, with selling.. I just moved and I’m trying to get rid of some stuff… I have way too many clothes! 😉

ladyjbuggi @ash_bee_c Thank you. I completely understand. So if you are on your phone, alllll the way towards the bottom of your screen you will see circles. Underneath them will be labeled Feed Shop Sell News The last one will be your user name. Click the icon with your name displayed underneath.

ladyjbuggi You’ll be navigated to a new screen. On that screen, you should see quite a few listed options. Among those options (towards the beginning of the list) will say “Find People” Choose that option. From there you can follow ambassadors, fresh closets and new people on poshmark(:

ladyjbuggi When I am on my computer, I simply go to my followers and follow them back. Then I begin following other peoples followers 😜 Something I just learned, shares and follows are wayyyy less tedious when done on the computer than on your mobile device.

ladyjbuggi @ash_bee_c Posh Ambassadors are role models in the Poshmark community who receive special benefits for their mentorship. Once a Posher reaches Posh Ambassador status, a badge will automatically appear in their closet and About page, making them easy to identify. People are finding you in different ways. Sometimes it’s through the find people page, could be through their news feed or could even find you (along with others to follow) by going through other peoples followers/following.

ladyjbuggi So if you go to your listings page (displays what you are selling and your profile pic) underneath your profile name you should see Listing Shares Followers Following The most feasible and efficient way to add people is by clicking on the followers and following tabs and adding anyone with a blue button that says ‘Follow’ next to their name. You can find the same tabs in the same place on other peoples listing pages as well😄
