Buy new or used. Recycle and reuse. Wear it, donate it, and at the end of its lifecycle, recycle it. I believe in the science that shows the fashion industry’s impact on the environment. That is why I’m in Poshmark. I used to throw away clothes I couldn’t keep wearing, and I couldn’t donate because of condition. Now I keep the things I can’t sell and donate or recycle. Did you know Good Will sorts the clothes they get? From reusable to recyclable. It’s a small step, but it is encouraged.
