Meet your Posher, Ashley

Hi! I'm Ashley. At this point I'm mostly shopping here rather than selling, but I plan to upload a few things sometime in 2022. I'm an author/illustrator for picture books, and I've lived all over the US, but am currently based in California. My favorite brands are Ace & Jig, Elizabeth Suzann (alas, gone now), and Dôen. I also love sewing and knitting my own clothing. I prefer natural fibers such as linen and wool, and try to opt for organic cotton when possible for environmental reasons. I'm passionate about environmental justice and combating climate change, and I really like that Poshmark offers a way to break out of the larger capitalist consumer cycle and bring new life to already-loved clothing. I typically wear a size S/M or 6/8, but as I write this I'm 7 months pregnant, so these pre-pregnancy sizes are likely to change after baby arrives. My own pre-pregnancy measurements are 38" bust, 29" waist, 39" hips, and all of the clothing that I plan to sell has fit me at this size.
