I've been loving Posh and have had many great interactions here! I'm a designer + art teacher. Instagram @askdzign. All items in my closet were bought / owned by me. My mom has owned a consignment shop since I was a baby - so I'm very familiar with shopping / selling 2nd hand. erikathomas998 Those merrell boots you commented on, I actually bought the same exact boots at a store today (I haven't purchased from poshmark before and I don't want to get something im not expecting) I saw where you were unsure about getting them. I purchased these for a ski trip in colorado and a few of my friends who have been skiing for years said I picked a good pair. So I think you should get them. Its a good deal. I got mine for $80 today at the store.

askdzign Thanks @erikathomas998 ! Yah I'm less concerned about purchasing here than I am about the actual level of warmth. I think they will totally be fine for ski town type of stuff - getting to/from mtn and bummin' around town - but i will need something for hiking in the mtns - way up into high elevations and snow - so need to be super warm and I've seen reviews that say the warmth isn't as great when it gets to be long periods of time in the snow + cold. For instance, I hiked 15mi this past Sunday, a lot of it in snow! They say they should be good to -40F but not sure if that's for lengthy times :) thanks for the note though!!
