rmbrush Hi, Ashton. I have a question about the Golden Goose sneakers you just sold me. Where did you buy them? I'm not sure they're authentic, based on the details (or lack of them) on the insole. On the bottom of the insole, the size says "36.5," but Golden Goose doesn't do half sizes.

rmbrush There is also no marking that says "Genuine Leather" like all other GG sneakers have. They are replicas.

ashtonpruitt_ @rmbrush I don’t mean to sound harsh in any way at all, but I’ve done some digging on the situation. Midstars don’t say genuine leather on them, I’ve looked at my real ones, and google searched every style possible. As far as 36.5 goes I’m unsure. These were purchased used from a reliable person. I’ve had them for awhile now and kept them in excellent condition and never had any problems with them falling apart or any such thing, they were given to me with the dust bag I just misplaced it.

ashtonpruitt_ @rmbrush $80 is 14% of a regular GG and still cheaper than any fake pair, so you are definitely getting your moneys worth. I’m just not exactly sure how to solve this on here without both of us losing money in some way, as I only have the $80 profit I made to give back.

rmbrush @ashtonpruitt_ The “genuine leather” should be printed on the insole just after the “Midstar” logo, around where the size would be. There are also no “GGDB” letters printed on the balls of the feet. The whole insole is white and really thin and soft compared to an actual GG insole, which is hard and gray on the bottom with the logo imprinted as well. The shearling and leather on the inside of the shoe is also not GG quality. There are some other indicators too.

rmbrush I’d hate to think you paid for these thinking they were real, but I’m positive they’re not, even if you got them with a dust bag. I don’t mean to sound rude and harsh at all either, but I did buy them because I believed they were authentic and that’s what the listing said. I’m not interested in buying a replica. And I don’t have a Ppal but I’ll look into it if that’s the only option here. Which it might be

rmbrush @ashtonpruitt_ Hi, I emailed Posh just to see what they think they/we can do about the situation. I'm nervous about posting replicas as a listing (I know they suspend accounts that try and sell replicas). I'll let you know what they say and what we can do from here!
