Hello! I was in Kari’s show last night. I have a mauve sweater like you tried to get for your friend. I would like to offer it to you. I remember wanting something cozy while I was going through chemo last summer. And I have a buffalo check beanie in the pink/mauve to match it. My heart is out to you and your friend. @4_good_stuff Aww you are too kind. How can I purchase the mauve plush from you? It takes a village and I am just glad she is finally ready to fight the good fight. she was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in July and finally starts treatment Oc 30th. She was in denial about it all and kept procrastinating on next steps. I can't imagine how hard it is to accept knowing and finding it within yourself to fight.

@atleerae No. Just a fellow traveler. And yes it does take a village. I’m glad she has acknowledged the need to fight, and has mentally prepared herself. Oh my! She has a fight ahead of her. Where is she going for treatment, if that is not too nosy a question. I should have them by Wednesday if all goes well with the shipping. I don't need the beanie since we are in Texas and maybe 2 days a year are cold enough for a beanie 😄 Just message me when you post the mauve plush and I will buy it for sure. Thank you so much! @atleerae Good morning, great! I’m hoping you have it before Oct 30. I hope her chemo goes well. I’m still waiting for my hair to grow in all the way. I bald since last summer. 🤷🏼♀️ I’m honored if I can help her journey. I went to MD Anderson in Houston but did my chemo here in El Paso.
I’m chuckling because I wear beanies & coats. Sometimes I think I’m colder here than in PA, my home state. That’s when I’m not melting from the heat. Hugs to you and your family, too. Holly

@4_good_stuff Aww lol coats and beanies in El Palo. 🤣 Hair is overrated. No rush on shipping. Her sister is going with her to her first chemo and I am going with her to her second one. She goes every 2 weeks for 4 months before surgery.

@4_good_stuff She said it was a long day 4 hour treatment and then came home with pump for 2 more administrations. Today she said she had body aches but it was tolerable. Thanks for checking and for the sweater.

@4_good_stuff Sorry I haven't been on Poshmark for a while. Trying to save money and the Posh shows are addictive. My friend is doing good. She is done with chemo sessions and on to radiation sessions with a chemo pill. After a few more rounds they are going to do some kind of test to determine if the next best step is surgery. She is really wiped out and losing hair, but other then that she is still pushing through. Thanks for checking in. Hope all is well with you.
