boggy_style @audreyweekes I wish I knew the story myself! I actually found this on eBay about 10-12 years ago, and I didn’t think to ask the seller about the back story at the time. It honestly didn’t look like it had ever been worn before... for all I know it could have been new, but it didn’t come with tags. It’s still in amazing shape since I rarely wore it. I’m a field biologist so not a lot of opportunities. 😄 Still, I did love it... I might have gotten a little wistful packing it up for you! 😊

audreyweekes @jlschulz84 thank you for the info! We will never know its pre eBay history but I like to imagine something romantic and tragic, like 1940s... a jilted lover on a train station platform. Ha ha! Please don’t feel regret at selling your piece. If you ever decide it was a mistake to let it go, I will gladly sell it right back to you at the same price you sold it to me. In the meantime, it is on an adventure adding to its backstory. ❤️
