Hi Poshers! I'm a mostly Italian/Irish Cali girl, classically trained painter and designer, who is currently Posh-shopping only. Hope to also sell someday. :) I'm the Mom of one lovely daughter and one spoiled thug fluffy black kitty. We'll be adopting a couple more cats very soon. Love Dolce e Gabbana, Betsey Johnson, Fossil, Doc Martens UK, vintage, ethnic and more. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. aya_neko_neko Thx for the welcome, Kimberly. :) I love love love the Indian skirts, tho they are probably a bit too long (I'm under 5'2"). Have to double check the budget for this month but my current wardrobe is falling apart, so at least a few items are a priority! Hope to make your closet somewhat emptier soon. :)

aya_neko_neko :) I am still going to need tops to go with the skirts, and probably some slip-ons or sandals, but they might have to wait til next month. Do you ever have sterling jewelry? I'm allergic to metal (even surgical SS). Okay, back to shopping, lol.

refabrose @aya_neko_neko The reason why I ask I found the cutest sandals and hats in China Town for 5 to 7 dollars each! And they were leather I don't think I even paid the crazy sales tax. I miss Cali!

aya_neko_neko Unfortunately any kind of metal chain against my neck would make a rash w/in like a minute. But the red hears earrings are more than enough, really. :) No, I haven't been to Chinatown in a long time, I do go to Little Tokyo every so often. Downtown LA has gotten way too trendy and has lost a lot of its character, seems like that is happening a lot all over the country. :(

aya_neko_neko @jennyviv Hi Jenny. Well, I did figure out how to use a limited number on the computer. -----> ☼☺♥♪♫ There are only a couple more in the font set that I use. Go to the "character map" (in Win, don't know what it's called on Macs), and whatever you font you're using, you go down the whole list, past a bunch of foreign language characters and scientific looking stuff - or maybe it's different on your computer - but anyway, somewhere in there you will see a few smilie type thingies.

aya_neko_neko Also there is a font set called Wingdings and one called Webdings, There is a way to copy the ones you like into something like Notepad. I'm sure there's more info on a search engine that would be a lot better than the confusing stuff I am posting here. ☺

aya_neko_neko Hi, Jan :) I'm looking forward to getting the bag, so pretty and girly and cute, and not to mention kitty-full. LOL Yes, I did draw the kitty - charcoal pencil on cheap sketch paper. It only took about ten minutes and it's one of my favorites of my work, ever! You are right - all of the arts are paths to love and peace, inside people and outside. Hope to buy from you again. :)

aya_neko_neko @kdaless Ha ha, that's one of the reasons I bought it! I went thru a weird health thing when I literally could not choke down any food and had to buy a bunch of items in S and XS (I never thought in a million years I would hear the words "you need to gain some weight", LOL). Now I'm back at normal for my build so I'm in reverse on the buying. The blouse is something I know will get a lot of wear and good care. Thank you! :)

abdogg I'm so sorry that the jeans were too short! Sizing can be really weird. I have worn everything from a size 2 to a twelve, in the same brand and even varying in the same pair of jeans. I feel bad they don't fit the way they are, but I hope that stretching them works out! It sounds like a good plan. I have successfully altered the sizing of some clothes by stretching, or shrinking by putting things in the washer on high heat for a really long time, haha. Best of luck!

aya_neko_neko @abdogg Hey, no worries, I just wanted you to know in case you have others in the same style that this *could* be a problem. I've got lots of different tricks I can use to make them more custom-made like. The best one involves washing them repeatedly in hot water, then while they're wet pouring a whole bottle of moisturizing conditioner or lotion on 'em and leaving for 24 hrs. or longer. The wash again in hot, add a bit of bleach/Rit color remove, dry, and beat them with a heavy hammer. :)
