kasbowi @bjohnston576 It's not that they're not up to my standards. They don't comply with Poshmark;s rules and they will prevent you from getting Ambassador status. When that happens, Poshmark will share your closet with other Poshers in the public feed. That won't happen if you try to sell non-fashion items. I'd like you to succeed, that's all.

kasbowi @bjohnston576 Britt, please listen for just a moment. Many experienced Poshers will not share items from you closet because you aren't following Posh regulations. They just won't bother to tell you. Or they'll report you to Posh. I have over 100,000 followers who would have seen some of your items if your closet was compliant. That's a lot of exposure to lose because you have to get huffy instead of learning. I won't bother you anymore. Good luck.

kasbowi @bjohnston576 Don't get discouraged because it takes a while for your closet to get noticed. I went many months in the beginning before I had any sales at all. Here's the two best things' I've learned so far. 1, make sure you take the best pictures possible and "stage" your items nicely. No wrinkles, nicely folded or hung, and showing the entire garment, if possible. 2, price competitively, but not too low. You can do a search on your item and see what they sold for.

kasbowi @bjohnston576 I also looked at a whole lot of other closets to see what looked good and then tried to do something similar. Just today I saw a way to do clearance items that really caught my eye and I adapted that. It's always a learning process.

kasbowi @bjohnston576 And I forgot to mention the other important thing -- share, share, share. I'm retired, and so I share everything in my closet three times a day. In the morning, at one of the mid-morning or afternoon parties and at night before I go to bed. It's the only way to get your stuff out there and seen. Someone asked me once if that doesn't "clog up" your followers feed. Not really, since they're seeing tons of stuff from other people with yours mixed in. So share as much as you can.

kasbowi @bjohnston576 I haven't either sold or bought makeup on Posh because I know what I like and just get it at Walmart or Walgreens. But if I was buying something I'd probably look for singles and not assortments. Buyers could always bundle what they wanted anyway.

kasbowi @bjohnston576 Have you done a search for the things you're trying to sell? When the search comes up, you can then click at the very bottom to find out what has sold from what's still available. That way you could see what's popular and price to match or beat that.

someclassystyle @bjohnston576 ahhh YES you are selling them so good bundles I find that sometimes if I go a bit higher on what I sale I can discount, cause I see a lot of people will put a heart on an item I have listed for $5 and I CANT go down more than that UNLESS it is in a bundle THEY made to me with several items or otherwise you actually can loose money. so I will discount ONLY on things over $10 unless they are bundled with other items from my closet :)
