** POSH WONT LET ME SEND THE WHOLE STORY SO HERE IT IS ON BITS AND PIECES. I WOULD SUM UP MY RESPONSE, BUT I THINK YOUR RESPONSE WARRANTS THE WHOLE STORY ** Hey friend! Your response warmed my little heart! So the truth is, I LOVE this hat. I bought a bunch back in my artsy tree thugging days, and they were my go to flat brims for a long time. I took VERY good care of them because they were more than hats to me, they were wearable art.

As time passed, I phased out of wearing flat brims and pins and moved into fedoras, scarves, beanies, hipster hats and then into my Stetsons. Then, full circle, I came back into the world of flat brims and don’t think I will ever leave. The reason I gave up my hats though? Because they brought me so much joy and went with me on epic adventures seeing music, places, and art around the world for years!

For some reason, when I came back into the world of flat brims and held these hats in my hands, I didn’t feel like adding more of my adventures to them, I wanted my energy to live on and I wanted to pass them on for others to enjoy. I decided to give the hats away to my friends and loved ones. All the hats went quick, but this one loomed around (which is nuts because it is one of the more difficult ones to find).

I had been saving it for a friend for months now and one day I thought to myself, maybe I was meant to keep it... or maybe the answer (the owner) isn’t in my friend circle, maybe the true owner is out there in the world somewhere waiting for this hat. So I posted it on posh and figured I would keep it up there for a limited amount of time until my friend who I was originally keeping this for surfaced.

My mind said to post it for 150, seeing how the authenticity makes it worth its weight in gold, but my gut said to be kind and offer something reasonable to make someone’s day. So I posted it for 80 and a week later you bought it. That’s pretty much it. That’s its story. I’m glad you reached out because I’m glad it made it into the right hands.
