Hi, I’m Barb @BlueForgetMeNot. The Forget Me Not is my favorite flower but for me is also a symbol for those with brain injuries. Whether caused before birth (ie:cerebral palsy) or after (an acquired brain injury), they are often forgotten, overlooked and left out. A portion of my sales will go to either CRCC (Children’s Respite Care Center in Omaha) and BIAC (Brain Injury Alliance of Colorado). So, please “forget me not” and enjoy shopping. wbendquilter I knew you were awesome! I just made a comment on a wool sweater and thought I should see if you had shared any information about yourself. I’m glad I did! I’m a former social worker in Wisconsin who had to go on disability because of damage to my spine after being hit by a drunk driver on the way home from work.

wbendquilter I tried and tried to keep working after finding what I thought was the perfect job giving woman, infants and children food stamps, Insurance, Child Care and Emergency Assistance. I love helping families! Now I’m just a Nana to a 5 yr old, work for a Golden Retriever rescue and quilt.
