Hi! I'm Barb. Since July ‘23, I have lost 78 lbs so I have almost nothing to wear! I love looking at all the offerings on Poshmark! I am a retired RN who just turned 72 so I am interested mostly in comfortable, conservative, easy care clothing. Thanks for stopping by! havenfan Congratulations on your weight loss! How did you do it? I’ve been yo-yo dieting forever. Haven’t been thin since around age 6. Love any diet tips or secrets you can share😘

brogers244 @havenfan I have been following a Dr Livingood on line. He’s a homeopathic MD and a chiropractor. He has an excellent supportive weight loss environment.

brogers244 The food plans are pretty much carnivore and keto mixed. I haven’t been totally strict but even though i am a nurse I have learned a great deal from him. He post teachings/classes several times a week and does a Q/A session every Wednesday.

brogers244 @havenfan His wife wrote a great recipe book! You can search Dr Livingood on you tube and listen to most of his stuff for free. Every month he starts a new Challenge ( he calls them “crews” they are support groups with meal plans etc. There are daily exercise videos you can follow along with.

brogers244 @havenfan He only recommends exercising for 10 minutes a day. When I started on July 1st all I could do was “lean right and left” I was in a mobility scooter and a lift chair. But now I am often do the 10 minute exercise several times each day because they are so easy for me. I have been using my scooter for months- not even for the outlet malls! I check my ketones several times each day. Basically I gave up sugar and carbs are limited.

brogers244 @havenfan Once I list 40 lbs I started using keto bread because I wanted sandwiches. I had stopped eating all bread. The loaf is easy to find at Walmart and most other grocery stores but it is about $3. I buy it, freeze part of it to use for toast and use the other part as fresh bread. I do not crave anything and do not feel deprived. I never get hungry so I usually do intermittent fasting from 9 pm to 9 am a day that has enabled by belly fat to disappear easily.

brogers244 @havenfan Check him out. He’s a pretty smart MD and the Livingood community is a great support system. I was once a WW lecturer but even though I lost weight with WW. I would always gain it back. This is a lifestyle change not just a diet. It’s right at 7 months now and I’m still loosing.
