krosie55 I am sooo sorry that I said the stone was a garnet and it isn't. I asked my husband what it was and that's what he said. Are you sure it is glass? I paid quite a lot for that ring and was told it was a real stone. I will gladly pay to ship it back and give you a full refund. Just let me know. Again, I apologize greatly! Upon closer examination, the crystals look to be manmade, not natural (too clear and perfectly shaped), so I'll pass on that one The black tourmaline/peridot ring is very pretty, a unique combination. But not really all that unusual in style, so I passed on that one too. I do have a jewelry shop on another website and am quite knowledgeable about gemstones and jewelry.

bkphiliotis Looking at the pictures, its definitely not indicolite (blue tourmaline). That stone is more teal in color, and is actually VERY expensive.. Its either amethyst or iolite, iolite being more blue purple,than pure purple like amethyst. I would be more inclined to call it amethyst.

bkphiliotis As for the roman glass necklace, to be honest, I would say its priced too high for Poshmark. I have a shop on another site and in my shop I would sell it for about $159, mostly because the color of the glass is exceptional. bkphiliotis @livvysworld No, thankfully they we're damaged. But if they had been, they would have been difficult to repair as a jeweler could not solder on new posts without jeopardizing the stones. Any 3 dimensional jewelry should always be shipped in a box or in bubble wrap. I've even received jewelry in old candy tins, so packaging doesn't have to be expensive. Just a suggestion.

And you may want to contact Posh Support and ask to return the item if this isn’t as described. Whenever you receive an item that is not as described, contact Posh support and ask for return. Itwas an honest error on my part. As far as I knew this was truthful description. If your truly disappointed in the item I’d feel better if you did this.

You just received the item. I can try to contact them. Not very much time has gone by. Recently a buyer said she never received my item....but I learned of it a bit later. From my communication with them in past, it seems that it should not be too late.

bkphiliotis @alittlebitmessy I'm certainly not going to hold it against you! I sell jewelry online and the PO just lost a $120 necklace I sold. I'm out that money, so I know the feeling! A suggestion: since poshmark makes you ship priority mail (which is automatically insured), if you get your package scanned in at the PO and it gets lost, you're covered for the cost of the item! You just need to have it scanned in to prove that the PO had possession of it when it went missing. Happy holidays!
