stacimack157 @babsyarbrough Whew! I'm glad that you were skeptical! Most who do that are trying to get you to ship your item to them so they can pay you with a fraudulent check. Poshmark eventually takes these messages down from your listing ❤

babsyarbrough @stacimack157 well, this is my first time doing anything like this so I guess my instincts played a big part. When I looked, both their user name and email addresses seemed to be just random, jumbled letters, which seemed odd. Honestly, I didn't even think of them passing a fraudulent check, I was more worried about giving my personal email address afraid that they may hack it. 😳

stacimack157 @babsyarbrough Good instincts! The randomness of the letters/numbers in the user name is always a red flag for me. I flagged that message on your boots as "Transaction Off Poshmark". If you ever get another message like that, click the little flag icon at the end of the message and select "Transaction Off Poshmark" ❤
