threads4living Hi Barry, I hope you were able to cancel your order! Is your package marked as shipped? I hear as soon as someone purchases, they immediately mark it as shipped. Then Poshmark can't do much about it. The scammer either sends you something like socks, or they change the address on the shipping label to an unknown address. The seller gets your money and you then have to go through the mess of a refund. Poshmark will probably reimburse you, but scammers win too. That's what I hate..😠

threads4living I wish Poshmark would do a better job of blocking these fake accounts. You can always tell they are fake. Brand new accounts with super low prices on expensive items. The users name and account name are different or just odd looking. The photos they use are stolen from other people's accounts. If you go to 'Just In' you will see about a hundred of them posted last night. This goes on every night. I flag them, but Poshmark does nothing! They are still up and people are being ripped off. 😞

barrysisler @threads4living it has not changed to shipped. i have never had this happen and i used, transaction is pending in my bank. not sure what to do now. annoyed with this all now.

threads4living @barrysisler I think you just go into your purchase and click on Problem/Enquiry and cancel. Try that!

barrysisler @threads4living i cannot do that yet. Its not an option listed when i click on it. I called my bank and they cannot stop it from going through but Posh will reimburse me once item doesn't ship etc or I don't get it which seems likely.

threads4living @barrysisler I was just reading Poshmark's policy and if you accepted an offer, then you can not cancel. Not sure if that's what your transaction was? Anyway, I hope the best for you! I hate these scammers because they are getting paid and you have to file a claim and go through the whole mess! ugh! They are posting hundreds everyday. I can't believe Posh is letting this happen. I don't see this on other sites.

barrysisler @threads4living I made an offer and they accepted it. So should be able to work it out. I have to wait til the 3rd to see if item ships etc then can cancel and Posh should get my money back. I am new on here and didn't even think it would be scams.

barrysisler i also found other ads on here with same pics, different prices on the glasses and the "seller" had different accounts with nothing else sold. so I commented on them as a SCAM and two minutes later all of them w were gone.

threads4living @barrysisler Awesome! I spent an hour marking spam on all of them late last night and they were all the same from Friday night's that I'd flagged, plus some new ones. I haven't looked at today's yet. I think they just keep coming back! They are also an issue in the athletic shoes and other high profile brands. I wish Poshmark would get a grip on this. Just make sure to shop a closet that has sales and some love note reviews. 😊

threads4living @barrysisler Also, you need to go to your purchase and down to the Problem/Enquiries and email your issue to Poshmark Support. They will email you back within a day and that way you have your case in motion. Has the spam seller shipped your purchase yet?

threads4living @barrysisler I just checked and all the fake accounts are still there! Ugh! If you click on 'All' and then 'Just in', instead of the 'Just Shared', you will see them. Like a hundred of them! 😭
