I wanted to give the back story to it but saw I couldn't message you directly so I figured I was out of luck. So I really hope you see it on here! My dear mother has always had this doll for as long as I can remember. It helped solidify my love for dolls as a little girl. The doll was given as a gift by my dad in their first years of marriage back in 1985 giving it priceless sentimental value.

rcompagno (2/2) But back in 2021, our family dog Maizie decided that the doll would make a fantastic chew toy. My mother came home and was devastated to see her vintage doll absolutely destroyed. Since then, I started my search for the doll. But, with little knowledge about the make or model of the doll along with its age made it impossible to find. I searched for a solid year to no avail. As a last resort I went to Reddit and asked a dolls subreddit if they could identify it. After months, they did!

rcompagno I finally had the make and model of the doll and then started searching for it specifically. But no surprise, even with my additional information, it still wasn't anywhere especially available to purchase. Almost all hope was lost on this attempt. But low and behold, I found one place in the entire internet that had the exact doll for sale. And that was you. After excitedly purchasing it, I was able to give it to her for Christmas. She cried when she opened the gift she thought was lost forever.

The doll now sits in her office in a special box so Maizie can't get to it anymore lol. I wanted to share this story so you could know just how special of a purchase this was in addition to my appreciation.
