Hi!! I'm Becca & this is my mom, Kitty. My late step-dad, Ed is here with us in spirit. The custom made jewelry, cabochons & gems here are all from my family's studio. We strive for excellence & used the best pieces possible- Sterling Silver, not plated & NO Tibetan "silver". We also used only genuine Swarovski Elements. The opal rough material was sourced directly from the miners in Australia, never 3rd party wholesalers. We obtained most of the lampwork beads directly from the artists themselves, like world renowned artist Jeff Barber.

@wrforrest TY, I really appreciate that!! My photo box can't arrive soon enough!! I feel almost guilty for posting sub-par pics! lol! Hopefully most people will know that it is impossible to capture all the fire an opal has to offer in pictures. It can only help with the other stones as well. I won't have to be cropping out shadows or the errant piece of fuzz with a proper photo box.

Thank you SO much, Becca, for all the kind words about my closet. I lover yours and clicked "like" on one opal, but like you, I have to be careful with the spending. Trust own your judgment when it comes to showing your Mom (or not showing your Mom) my closet. That made me SMILE. My Mom would be ALL OVER the pearls. I think of her often and always will, but with the pearls I've bought from China, she would be as you say "gah gah". LOVE that and love to you and your Mom!

@berlinshop18 TY TY!! What's funny is I bought that brooch for my mom, who made all the jewelry along with her late husband. She's a breast cancer survivor who didn't have reconstruction surgery, so she wears a lot of scarves to cover the one side of her chest. I'm always keeping an eye out for beautiful brooches to hold the scarves in place for her. She has a thing for keys and feathers, so yours stood out!!

@armida49 I totally understand people looking for deals and bargains and I try to explain about the jewelry in my bio so people won't think it's costume or second hand, but it doesn't seem to help. I've started just declining the lowball offers. I tried countering just a few dollars below asking only to get their counter of just a couple of dollars more than their original offer. Hopefully it will get better!

So I never play they're game. Serious buyer's know better than that. I stand my ground I really offer good item's just like yourself. @hsb4me Thank you!! Unfortunately, we never created any rings. Some of the smaller stones, could be easily dropped in a semi mount though. Or your local jeweler could adapt a setting for you. There are even other jewelers on Etsy who will set stones for you. I've had clients purchase stones from me and I then shipped them to the jeweler to be set!

I have a huge collection & didn’t realize it wasn’t ok to sell these on Posh. As soon as I found out I removed all of my dolls and accessories to make my closet Posh Compliant as I want to lead by example & am not a rule breaker.

There are plenty of other selling platforms you can sell the dolls on, so don't give up on that. I am also a single, disable mom so I know how tough things can get. I just have to tell myself that I am doing the best I can.....

@kb_collection My closet is Posh Compliant. It is an item I sold when I first started on Poshmark, & I cant erase it. As soon as I was informed my closet wasn’t compliant, I immediately removed the items. There is nothing I can do to erase past mistakes. I do sell my dolls on a different platform. I tried to discuss it with Shelley but she said that it goes against the rules. I have faith that God will bless me in other ways. I will pray for you. Thanks for your kindness.
