rosegoldhouse @beccalynn400 Unfortunately, PM doesn't offer private messaging.. that's one thing I wish they offered! I think it's to help sellers be as transparent about their listings as possible. One way to be more discrete is to message on your or their "meet your posher" post rather than commenting on the item you're chatting about. Hope that helps!

beccalynn400 @rosegoldhouse is it against rules to send pictures of something I’m selling to an email? I’ve had two buyers ask me to do this and I’m kind of sketched out over it

rosegoldhouse @beccalynn400 Poshmark asks users to not share personal info which includes email. One of the benefits of using PM is "posh protect". Let's say something goes wrong with a sale, i.e the buyer gets your item and claims "the seller didn't disclose ___" but you did over email, PM won't have that communication as evidence. If a buyer asks for more photos over email b.c you can't add anymore to your listing, you can make a collage on your phone and upload that to PM as one photo.

rosegoldhouse @beccalynn400 Also, you're not obligated to send more photos or try on anything if you don't want to! I always try to upload enough pics to make sure the buyer knows what they are getting. I photograph any flaws, detail shots, tags etc..
