retrodresslove Wow! That dress was professionally made and is worth every penny of the original price. If you are so dissatisfied why not just return the dress? I would happily have accepted a return. There was no need to be so disrespectful. It’s a good thing you will not buy from me because it saves you the embarrassment of me never selling to you again. It actually kills me thinking that someone like you is wearing one of my designs.

becca_normal @retrodresslove Everything I said was true. I could send you pics. I'm keeping it because it's still cute despite the imperfections. I just thought it would be good for you and your customers to have that feedback because the dress was pricey and should not have so many issues. Why would I spend money on a dress randomly hoping I could leave a bad review?? Crazy talk.

becca_normal @retrodresslove Perhaps I could have edited my review to be a tad kinder but imagine being excited to get such a cute piece and then finding so many issues. Everything I said was true but I will definitely try to express myself more diplomatically in future reviews.

becca_normal Well, I do apologize for the harsh words but hopefully we both learned a lesson today. You need to look at your pieces more carefully before you send them out and if you're going to sell them in that condition, at least be transparent about it.

retrodresslove @becca_normal @becca_normal All of my pieces come directly from the manufacturer to me already packaged and sometimes I take them out of the packaging to send because I don’t want to contribute to more plastic out in the world.

retrodresslove @becca_normal I always list my pieces at retail prices so I can give discounts on them. The dress you purchased from me that fabric came from Alexander Henry and was very expensive to purchase. All my dresses are manufactured in Los Angeles which is more expensive than if I would get them done let’s say overseas. How can I be more transparent than sending you a garment directly from the manufacturer. I had no idea those flaws existed if they really do exist.

becca_normal @retrodresslove I didn't want a refund cuz it's hard getting to the post office, I don't have a printer, and I can fix some of the sewing mistakes, cover up the main one with a better belt, and it's roomy enough to slip it over my head and avoid that nightmare of a zipper job. The business of the fabric masks some of it too. I know the fabric is pricey, the issue is the quality of the sewing.

becca_normal @retrodresslove I did apologize for the way I phrased my review but it was all true. All things considered, I think it was pretty tame considering what I got. I stuck to the facts. You however responded with unfounded accusations about my character, calling me a liar, insisting the dress was perfectly made and you know admit you didn't even look at it! I've said I'd send you pictures, if you want them. If not, move on and do better next time. Thank you

If the dress is in that kind of condition, you had every opportunity to return it instead, you chose to to leave a very angry and hateful review and you even said that you could’ve used different words. You never gave me an opportunity to actually speak with you civilly. You never gave me a chance to correct the problem so in my mind and I’m sure many others why keep a Dress that was in that type of condition. You had every opportunity to return it.

becca_normal @retrodresslove I left a review of the dress as the app asked me to do. It was all facts and I offered to send pics. You're the one who was hurling unfounded accusations about my character and keeps leaving me messages trying to gaslight about the quality of a dress you admittedly never even laid eyes on. I explained why I kept the dress instead of returning it.
