armstrongmary @beckilee2007 hi - sorry for the delay- The linen is good quality so it has a thickness but the fabric is soft. Also, there are pockets in front and back which prevent “exposure” lol. I tried them on in my sunny living room and I felt like they gave good coverage. They’re white but they have that subtle grey stripe too- so, I would say in answer to your question, on a scale of 1 to 10 the see-throughness is about a 3. I hope this helps you decide!
