jawesq Thank you for negotiating a good price for the J Jill top. My late mother was a teacher,. I have great respect for teachers. What is an "independent progressive school"? I have always thought public school teachers should be better paid and more respected than they are. Education is critical to having a functional democracy, and that starts in elementary school.

ceramoon @jawesq we facilitate learning by giving some structure to a lesson but then let the children notice, explore, and figure things out for themselves. There’s a lot more onus in what they learn in the end. Both of my kids have been through from early elementary to graduation and I’ve been wildly impressed with how the curriculum spirals, how they learn to self advocate, and the rapport they have with teachers. They learn how to think, not what to think.
