dartonsmarten Bethy, I checked and the current model of heating aids I have are the Oticon More. They are not inexpensive. I think this set cost close to $7,000 for the pair My first set, an older version of Oticon’s, cost about $5,000 for the pair. I know people who have gone to Sam’s or Costco to get their hearing aids. I can’t make a comparison. The first set we put a rider on our homeowner’s insurance to cover loss or damage. Luckily I only need one.😊 I’ve rad good things about phonak, which is the brand my doc likes, but they are pricey too. I will look into yours and maybe do a little comparison. dartonsmarten @bethy4444 My pleasure. My 1st pair w/o Bluetooth had additional programmed functions. One I used regularly was designed to be able to hear your friends at your table in a busy restaurant. I used it to tune out my MIL in the car. She never met a peaceful moment of silence she couldn’t fill! Bc of the expense I just bought a pair of Bluetooth ear buds that hook around my ear. I’m always afraid if i sweat I’ll lose a hear aid, which is exactly what i did two weeks ago but we found it!
