bellanovella I just started selling late October 2016 last year. SHARE..sharing is sooooo important. Also follow games. Not every one will share back, but a lot will. You need to get your items seen. If you look at all of our main pages you can see we share a lot. I will tag you to some follow games that are just starting. You "Like" the listing. Share it. Them follow everyone that has also "liked" the listing..this will be all the little circles under the listing.

notjustasparrow @hjmarquis OMFG!!! IT ALREADY IS! I am literally an hour or two in the am, and then again in the PM and then in between, getting clothing ready for my boutique, another site and then Posh. Then I collapse because my Etsy shop needs listings and I'm too tired. AND then I lay in bed at 2am, build dream bundles and shop;) GAH! And you guys are so awesome!

notjustasparrow @jori101 Hey! I did not start them naturally. Lol! My hair is STICK straight and I used the twist and rip method you see on youtube and then crocheted them a little here and there and then twisted them after showers and such.

notjustasparrow @jori101 I started off with 3... 2 on one side under a layer or so and 1 on the other and just added them in when I felt like it. I tried to 'section' a little as I went so I wouldn't end up with crazy, but all in all, you have to trust the process.

notjustasparrow @jori101 And that's really freaking hard... esp if you're used to looking cute all the time because your hair will look CRAZY cute for about the first year is what they told me, but my hair continues to look crazy and I am a bit wild and textured, so I don't mind;) Also, I started my dreads when my hair was about 6" long so only my blonde ends are over 2 years old. The rest is all growth and yep, your dreads will 'grow in.'

notjustasparrow @jori101 There's no one right way, and people will preach at you about the 'right way,' but there isn't one. Just wash them as you feel the need to, enjoy them as they develop because they are going to make all kinds of crazy shapes to amuse/anger you, and read up and watch videos and enjoy the community of dreadies;)

notjustasparrow @jori101 I do do one thing that everyone is like 'omg no.' Which is wash my hair 1-2x's every ten days with Argan Oil Shampoo. No unnatural stuff or anything and this is my 2nd bottle and I have zero buildup. And buildup is your enemy. Other people use bar soap. I do take baths now that they're heavier when wet and I hate flipping them upside down, but I clean my tub with a 10 min scrub every night, so nothing nasty gets near them... lol.

My friends from back home all look like pirates and are in a school bus as a band... Psalters. I had dreads YEARS ago... like '07-ish and almost 3 years ago, it just seemed right.

cat_pants @notjustasparrow I really can't evaluate items in other people's closets. However I would do a Google search and reasonably think about how old the item is, it's condition, the brand popularity, and it's cut and styling in relation to current trends. Hope that helps 🤗
