mppc90 Hi Betsy, I just saw your msg regarding the Air Max. I am very surprised to hear that..! I had purchased them a while back from a reputable store in the neighborhood and since I have never worn them and I didn’t notice anything strange. Can you let me know what it is that you are seeing that makes you think it’s a fake? My husband and I have owned a lot of the 90 model and haven’t had fakes in the past. Let me know, thanks.

quiksgroove @mppc90 I was also surprised. I have owned many pairs of Nikes, specifically Air Max 90s. Some I have had for over 10 years. never has the entire bottom of the shoe come apart. Also the soles are foam feeling as opposed to rubber. There is paint peeling off the soles. If you want a pic let me know before I toss them. Just wanted to give you a heads up! I realize they were $40 also so it's all good.

mppc90 Very strange. My only thought is that they are older and the PU foam rubber has deteriorated, which is a problem with older/dead stock Nike’s. The tag I posted has the production date. From my research no telltale signs of a fake are present in the shoe. They were purchased at a reputable chain store. If you research the item number on the tag that exact shoe comes up. Please send me pictures at your earliest convenience and I’m sorry the shoe didn’t workout. My email is mpac521@gmail.com

quiksgroove @mppc90 May I ask what research have you done to reach your conclusion? You didn’t even wear the shoes and you have not seen them since they have fallen apart. I do not believe they are authentic and I am sorry that you apparently also fell victim to a scam. I have emailed you pictures. I appreciate your response. Good luck to you.

mppc90 @quiksgroove Hi, I read different articles online to try to understand what you were saying about the shoes.I saw the pictures and it really surprised me.Like I said, I’ve never worn them but I was going to give them to my sister and she wore them around the house for an hour and nothing strange happened. I don’t think it’s fake but I also don’t agree that should have happened.Get in touch with Poshmark to request a return label for the shoes and I’ll authorize a return of your money.Good luck
