leapax Hi Bianca 👋🏼 I hope you are well. I am also quite new on Poshmark and am learning new things all the time here. Like, Do you know how things work with Poshmark's commission? My understanding of it is that, anything we sell for $20 or more, Poshmark will take 20% of the selling price. So, if you sell something for $20, Poshmark will take $4 and you will get $16.

leapax Anything that we sell for less than $20, Poshmark will take $3.95. and we will get whatever is left. So, if you sell something for $19.95, Poshmark will take $3.95 and you will get $16. If you sell something for $10, Poshmark takes $3.95 and you will get $6.05. If you sell things for $5, Poshmark takes $3.95, you get $1.05. If you sell something for $3.50, Poshmark will take all of it and you will get nothing.

leapax Sorry for so many examples, but I just wanted to make sure that you understand how the money side of things work and also to make sure that you know that for all those items that you are selling for $5, if someone buys any of them, you will only get $1.05 from each $5 item sold. If you already knew all of this, then I am sorry for making you read my long comment!

leapax If I had your items to sell, I would bundle some of your items together, instead of selling them all individually. You will make more money that way. Any items that are similar, or for similar purposes, you could sell them together. For example, the nail polishes and I think you had a nail file perhaps? If so, you could sell them together for $25, which you would receive $20, if they sold for that price.

leapax If you sell them separately for $20 for the nail polish and $5 for the nail file (I think those are the prices you have them listed for), if you manage to sell both for those prices, you will end up with $17.05

leapax I'm sure if you asked your mum, she would help you to go over your prices first, just to make sure that you are charging enough & charging what is fair to you & to people who might want to buy your things. Then, I'm sure your mum would help you to figure out the best way to bundle your items, so that 1. the bundle makes sense and 2. that your items & bundles are priced in a way that you can make the most out of them. I hope that you do not mind me sharing what I have learnt with you. 😁

leapax Please do not be offended by this, but because you are very young, people might be concerned that you are selling your items without your parents knowledge & permission. Which might make it very difficult for you to actually sell anything. If your parents do know & are happy for you to sell your stuff, then I think if you ask one of your parents to write a few comments on each of your items for sale, I think that would help to put potential buyers minds at ease. Good luck with your sales!

leapax I'm sorry, I know there is a lot of information in my earlier comments. Let me ask you a different way. If someone buys your boots for the $5 you are asking for them, how much money do YOU get to keep from that, as the person selling them?
