I'll definitely pop back in when I can if just to give you the viewers! as to the box, most of what I plan to put in there are earrings, necklaces, and bangles. everything would be costume jewelry, but it would all also be real silver, gold, or hematite plated.

bjsstylehertz @kareynascloset If you see something specific you like in my closet, let me know and I can add it. I have alot of jewelry that needs to go right now, and style, type and construction run the whole gambit. So you can kind of name your price starting at $20, and I'll start with 6 pieces and go up from there. If you have a style preference, same deal like boho, statement bling, classy, etc. Is there anything specific you are looking for or would want to see in a mystery box if you got it?

kareynascloset @bjsstylehertz I have been doing shows since last year, and then I had to take a long break. I was getting really angry and stressed!! NOT me at all!!! I am happy if I get 10 or more, but still no guarantees for buyers. Share shows can get an audience if you can get a following (you might be better off standing on your head or adding something unique?) A regular schedule and consistency might help also.

kareynascloset @bjsstylehertz Weekends are better. At Tax time, sales do pick up, then slowwwwww all Summer. I make sales here and there doing silent shows, which are way less set up and waste of time. I was really really trying at first! I put everything I had into doing Live in front of Camera shows, no sales, nothing. Barely a sale. Then I would see some getting so many, and selling one thing after another, I was literally like, "What are they doing that I'm not???

bjsstylehertz @kareynascloset ugh! I understand that. not feeling like yourself is brutal! oh wow! ok, I don't think I would have that of that. those are good points! Thanks for the advice 😃 I was thinking of just starting with 1 show a month, but it seems like alot of people pop in 2x a week, or more! that seems stressful. but I guess we'll see how my first show goes and take it from there?

kareynascloset Sorry for the novel! I hope it will help you not to go crazy or stressed out and pissed off at Poshmark like I was getting. When I took a good long break, got my bearings, my husband noticed how much less pissed off I was!! ha haha!! So now, grain of salt! I took the pressure off myself, and I just do me, what I can do, plus, I prayed! a lot! Not everyone is meant to be a selling novice. I think my expectations at first was that lives would be easy! um, not!

bjsstylehertz @kareynascloset lol no worries! I really appreciate the talk, your tips, and experience! I used to do direct sales and know that I'm pretty alright at it, but I've never done something like that virtually. and I am terrible at networking, or building a following, so we'll see what happens 😅 maybe I can use my 2 year old as a gimmick! 😁

bjsstylehertz @kareynascloset I do well with marketing, direct sales, and engaging followers, but I had a TBI a few years ago and since then, I can't manage all three at once 🤣 so we'll see what I can get away with! but I can definitely see how this can get frustrating. I see some people being super nice and passionate and hustling, and seem to have almost no turnout, and then some people looking like they are high, not being polite, lazy (not managing their tray), and make the sales and I'm like, what?!
