I'm a master fine jeweler & precious metalsmith. I cast, set, and design custom fine diamond jewelry in my studio. Also, I recondition heirloom pieces & grade diamonds. These days other jewelers and customers seek me for repair work on very difficult jobs and artistic design work. Plus I manufacture jewelry for several high-end catalogs. But I love creating inexpensive pieces that are well made & fashionable, not everything has to be high $ to be beautiful. With 43 years in the business, jewelry is my life!

Then when you list new items you send a message to everyone who liked that post! Some people do it by setting the price on the post very very high, then lowering it each time they post new items. It may take some time to sell, but you will get more. Take it to a jeweler for an appraisal if you don't have one so you will have information to publish on it. Good luck.

blissjewelry @acrimm I'm not able to get a mental picture of what you're describing. I'd really need to see a photo. But 24 k is very soft for a ring. I would not recommend it for a wedding band especially. Oh the scratches and abrasions it would get.

However, I also make jewelry for several large well known catalogs and I’m not supposed to say I made a piece of jewelry if they have listed in their catalog as their exclusive item. ( It’s like being a ghost writer. Lol!) I have several of those pieces listed as well. Also, I recondition jewelry that customers trade in. I try to describe everything.

blissjewelry @jbstiles I appreciate your sweet comments and shares. Gold filled rings are multipl layers of gold coated over an alloy or inexpensive metal. Resizing will destroy the layers of gold or burnish the gold in places; sometimes applying heat will melt the metal underneath depending on what it is. Different metals melt at varying temperatures. There are so many unknowns with gold filled and gold plated that most jeweler, including me, don't resize gold filled or gold plated. (cont. below)

This is why real gold, platinum, and silver are so valuable for jewelry and have been used for centuries. I say all this not to sound harsh or mean, but so you will make informed future purchases and save money in the future. But I do I resize rings daily. Kindest regards

blissjewelry @kico0118 not every thing I make is moissanite. I use a lot of diamonds and usually do a combination of the two. You’re correct it is often hard to determine moissanite from diamonds without being an experienced jeweler or gemologist, especially when it is Charles and Colvard. I have seen a lot of cheap moissanite that was detectable across a room. Lol! Very often this has to do with the cut and polish. Thank you for the sweet remarks and kindest regards.
