I grew up in the Damascus area from gaithersburg laytonsville area to Frederick and just over the line to Bolivar which has been swallowed up by historical Harpers Ferry. I know holiday times are rough, you think wow this is the first time with out Dad and for me since he had a magnificent singing voice every time I hear a song that reminds of him I'm both happy and sad. My father not too long after but whatever there, he was a good man when he was not drunk or being mean to my Mother. I know without him around she would have still been here, however I wanted to say I am sorry, you Miss your Mother & Father, I can only say, it will always be like yesterday, no bs there, however, we do let ourselves move forward somehow.GByou

jakesheart @bobbie730 I did not mean to be a downer but the missing feeling, it never leaves & never should. Im 47 now. To me, it was yesterday. Ill wish everyday I could have 1 day or I used to just wish to be with her it was so bad, but I pulled it together somehow & made a life. It get's . adjustable, that is all. It's all right too. We miss our loved one's & nothing can take that away, nor should it. I wish you nothing but people around you who love you.Not to take place, but it helps. Sweet dreams!

They were truly long and faithful servants to the Lord and shared through their actions.
