I had to let him cross the rainbow bridge last year. it was a heart-rending decision, but I could not make him hang around and suffer just so I could love him. he had an enlarged heart and was bleeding into his kidneys, as well as having lived with FIV for the last 5 years of his life. he's was 13 years old when I held him as the vet injected him with the medication that put him to "sleep". this photo is one of the last ever taken. always in my heart. 💖💖💖
