vtgcovergirl Hi Brandie! I wanted you to reconsider my offer with reduced shipping because it does make a big difference. You’d be coming out about the same. $30 + $6.79 + tax approximately $2.46 = 39.25. Let me know what you think.

I’m very new to Poshmark and I still don’t really understand how this all works....I’ve only bought a pair of AE jeans off of here. I would love your first offer again if it’s still available. There should really be a master class or something for people new to this! 😂

I’m not able to counter with reduced shipping (app glitch), but what I can do is re-list the shirt and tag you with the offer once more (if you like?) I would then remove the previous listing... Reduced shipping is a huge deal for me personally. I always ask for it... 😊

vtgcovergirl @brandiedoucet A bundle is a way for a seller to send a private offer, and also a way to communicate privately. I know from my end (with that first offer) because you’d countered) I couldn’t counter back with reduced shipping. If you still have the original offer available to you, you can still choose it if the app will let you. I didn’t think it would so I sent a separate one...

vtgcovergirl @brandiedoucet I believe offers are linear, meaning that once one with reduced shipping is countered, NEITHER party has the ability to access the initial offer. (I think I’m telling you right...) 😆

vtgcovergirl @brandiedoucet Regarding the bundle feature: What I do, if I’m interested in a piece, is bundle it first to see what kind of price the seller might give. Some require that you have multiple items to “bundle” (hence the term) but it never hurts to ask, and as I mentioned before, those conversations about price are private... 💞

brandiedoucet @vtgcovergirl I just noticed, shipping is $6.79 regardless, unless someone offers you a lower price, correct? I’m so bad at this! 🤣 Like I said, I wish someone would make a video for beginners, like Poshmark for dummies! 😂🤣😂 I see tons of YouTube videos teaching you how to sell items but nothing on purchasing for the first time and what the terms like bundle and stuff mean 🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess I’ll just learn as I go

vtgcovergirl @brandiedoucet I do... Some people will send offers out to those who’ve liked their items, but if not, I’ll reach out and leave a message. “Would you consider an offer with reduced shipping?” It doesn’t always work in my favor, but then I can live without pretty much anything... 😆

vtgcovergirl @brandiedoucet EXACTLY! Plus they started having to add tax last year, so in my head, I’m calculating right at $10 added onto anything that doesn’t have reduced shipping... Just POOF! That’s why I take it so seriously, on both sides of the equation.

vtgcovergirl @brandiedoucet Right?!? If you see a private discount, that’s coming from the seller (and coming from their bottom line.) Those last 24 hours. You’ll see other price drops from sellers occasionally as well with reduced shipping that last six hours. That’s a reduction coming from Poshmark (because the seller dropped the piece by 10%)

vtgcovergirl @brandiedoucet Actually, once you get past the learning curve I think you’ll probably really enjoy it! The biggest difference with this app is the sense of community and support you’ll get if you need/want it. I’ve made countless friends on here all over the country that have similar interests/tastes in things as I do. Should you decide to sell, it’s a great source of added income... 😊
