Good Evening, This style of mat was used for advertising. Usually, placed on a counter and customers would place money on the mat; then, their cigarettes and changed were received. Of course, placed on the mat.
it is memorabilia of times gone by. It is sort of skid free, and works well for a cellular phone, cigarette pack, lighter and beverage ... etc.
