The Shirley clutch that you bought is not authentic. The date code is wrong and the interior is incorrect. I have an authentic one in my closet - look at it for comparison pictures. Be sure to get your purchase authenticated when you get it.

Also, look at the shoulder strap on the one you bought. It's thick - and it should be thin.
