Hi! I'm Bren. Thanks for stopping by! I am disabled due to a car accident. I opened my closet to supplement my disability income. I used to own a shop that was called Etc. I filled it with cool, eclectic, funky, retro, MCM, & anything else that I loved for some reason! But, after the accident, I had to have multiple surgeries. It just wasn't possible for me to keep it open. So, now I'm hoping to do the same thing here! Feel free to leave me a comment so that I can check out your closet too. :)

treasures2luv Welcome to P😁SHMARK and thanks for the LIKE of my hi-end sequined camisole. It was made as lingerie, but most definitely can and should bedazzle outside the home! If you need help, feel free to ask me by using the comment box on my Meet the Posher page, or use Reply to this text. I think you'll love it here! ~ Monica

msneverending1 Bren just wanted to stop by and thank you so much for following my closet, sharing & liking My Vintage (1960’s) 18” Italian Sterling Silver Figaro Necklace With Sterling Silver Pendant With 2 ctw Natural Faceted Blue Topaz Gemstone. I recognize that blue hard collar because I was in a crosswalk when a car going 40mph failed to stop at the stop sign & hit me on my left hip throwing me on the hood & slamming my left shoulder on the hood of his car. This happened in

msneverending1 1992.;My kids were only 2 & 3 yrs old when I had my first surgery. I had a very large herniated disc at C5 & C6 with severe compression of my spinal cord. They fused the disc & used a Halo Device screwed into my skull & with the aid fluoroscopy they pulled the Halo Device to straighten my Spinal Cord. They also used an Orion Plate on my vertebrae that’s broke in the first year herniating 3 disc above&2 below the original fusion. Between 1992 & 2001 I had 10 surgeries on my neck

msneverending1 I also had damage to my lower spine, & I told them I could still walk and refused surgery on my lower back. I just had surgery in January fusing L3 to S1 & still recovering now. I just couldn’t stand the shooting, burning pain down both legs & starting losing both bladder & bowel control which are controlled by the nerves in the Lumbar Spine. At least the surgery corrected both bladder & bowel control & no pain in my right leg. The left side was much worse with some permanent nerve

msneverending1 damage so I now wear a brace on my left leg & can walk with the use of forearm crutches. I agree don’t ever give up, they told me before surgery that I may never walk again. I told them that was not an option, that I had faith, prayer, determination & I’m a stubborn Scorpio. I am in PT 3 days a week & walk a mile everyday with my husband. You have a wonderful closet and beautiful pictures. I hope you had an awesome day today!!! Please Stay Safe, Love & Peace Carol

1phoenixrising I'm so sorry you have gone through all that! I have had 4 surgeries on my neck, one on my elbow, one on my hip, & am recovering from lower back surgery, as well. My lower back surgery DID relieve the shooting pain going down my legs. However, my back is still there. That surgery was the worst to go through! I would rather give birth again than go through that again!

1phoenixrising I totally understand what you are going through! Now, I have bulges above and below my neck fusion. So, I know eventually I will have to have another surgery down the road.

1phoenixrising @msneverending1 Next up is I have to have both hips replaced. In an instant, my life and your life changed forever. If you ever need someone to talk to who understands, I am here for you! Stay safe! 💖💖💖💖 Bren

msneverending1 Bren just wanted to stop by and thank you so much for reaching out to me. I would like to be able to talk to someone who understands all the surgeries that we have both been through. Today I had to get X-Rays of my spine for my appt. with my Neurosurgeon next week. I am a little worried since I have developed a hard nodule on my thoracic spine that was not there before my January surgery on my lower spine. It is about the size of a quarter & visible. 1phoenixrising @msneverending1 Keep trying to stay positive! I've ALWAYS have had a sense of humor about all my medical issues! It's how I cope! I have been really ill since the end of January & was just put on more medications yesterday! I literally have what I call my "bucket of meds"! LOL Yes, some days are better than others but, as my youngest daughter says, "That's showbiz, baby!" 🤣

1phoenixrising It was 8 years ago on April 7, that the car accident happened. That day is always hard for me STILL! Before the accident, I was a basketball coach, a cheerleading coach, volunteer for numerous organizations, owned a store front, and my hubby had his own business as well. I am still trying to adjust to my new "normal"! Because the accident is a gift that keeps giving! 🤣 Keep your chin up! I will be here for you! 💞💞

msneverending1 Bren just wanted to stop by & say hello, I’ve been put on so many different medications since my accident in 1992. The unfortunate consequences is that more than half of those medications have been taken off the market due to serious side affects which caused me more problems. I was put on Xarellto after developing blood clots after a simple outpatient arthroscopic surgery on left knee. I had gone back to work after the 3 week recovery period & by the end of my work day my

msneverending1 entire leg & foot was so swollen that I could not wear my shoe. After going to ER they discovered 3 blood clots behind my knee & calf, so I was put on Xarellto the “Wonder Drug.” Turns out I had an allergic reaction with a GI Bleed, purple bruises all over my body, severe bleeding in the knee where I had a torn meniscus & ligament repaired. I was in the hospital for 8 days. I am very Leary of any new drugs that have come out recently, read the side affects of your new meds.

1phoenixrising @msneverending1 I'm so sorry for the delay in responding! I have been really ill for over 2 months! I was hospitalized for 5 days at the beginning of March. I was fighting multiple infections & severe rhinovirus. 2 weeks later, I was in the ER. Still had rhinovirus but also had RSV virus! They sent me home figuring I would be safer than in the hospital! I was warned that do to my compromised immune system, fighting these viruses for so long could turn into several infections again!

1phoenixrising Which earlier this week turned out to be true! I am now on ANOTHER round of antibiotics & steroids! STILL have both viruses!Doc said it will be a long road for recovery. I'm so sick & tired of being sick & tired! Spent Easter in bed. I hope you had a great Easter! Please take care of yourself! 😘

1phoenixrising @janellno5 That's awesome that your grandchild has that name! It does mean rising from the ashes/rebirth/starting new or over. I have had numerous times in my life that I have had to rise again! I've always come back! The accident has been one time that has been harder to come back from! Because, I am STILL dealing with the physical consequences of it! And, will be for the rest of my life. But, I'm a tough time broad! LOL

1phoenixrising And, I still have my sense of humor! That's how I have gotten through everything that had been shipped thrown at me. Love of family, friends, & humor! Thanks so much for reaching out! 💖

msneverending1 Bren no problem, they are correct that you would have a compromised immune system, you should stay away from ER right now during this pandemic. I am so sorry that you have been so sick, my thoughts & prayers are with you. I will share your closet for you, you just need to rest. I worked in the medical field several years & with all the bacterial & viral infections you’ve had it is best to try & stay away from other’s & just rest, Vitamin C & Emergen-C which is a powder you add to 8oz of

msneverending1 water take both daily & both will help boost your immune system. Your body is under attack due to the bacterial & viral infections you have had along with the antibiotics & viral medications both will also wipe our your good gut bacteria. You should also try taking daily probiotics, it will replenish the good bacteria you need for your intestines. I take Fortify 50+. Your immune system is weak from trying to fight off all the infections you are suffering from.
Apr 15Reply
msneverending1
msneverending1 Besides Vitamin C, & Emergen-C, Vitamin D3 also will help boost your immune system. Antibiotics & Anti-Viral drugs will wipe out all your normal flora in your intestines, then you can get yeast infections, your normal flora in your intestines help keep your body in balance. I take a probiotic daily, it restores your normal flora in your intestines & helps keep it in check. I hope you feel better. Love & Peace Carol

I have been drinking lots of Gatorade 0 (I'm diabetic, as well) taking multi-vitamin, vitamin e, lots of rest, more fluids! I can't afford the probiotics right now. But, will buy when I get my disability check. Believe it or not, I took a walk outside for the 1st time since the end of January! Today was a good day! 💖

1phoenixrising @rabbit16 Thanks so much for the encouragement! As you might be aware, I'm new here! I used to sell hard goods on eBay & was doing really well. But, the physical part of boxing/shipping & lifting was just too much for me anymore. Even though the fees on PM are high, it's is waaay easier on me, once I make a sale, physically to do! I sure hope I can make this successful! Thanks again! 💖Bren

1phoenixrising @jscalabrino Thank you for your kindness! I was recently diagnosed with a progressive neurological disease that has no cure. It’s really playing havoc with my heart & digestive system right now. My neurologist said that all they can do is provide me with “comfort measures”. Which means they can give me meds to try to stabilize my symptoms while they can. Once the meds no longer work, it’s in God’s hands. 😔 I STILL have my sense of humor about it all! Take care!💖
