sourdough907 @annmariesaved Hello. Great question. Yes, I actually took that picture. That was at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. A little bit after that picture was taken he came down by the fence (not much of a fence, maybe 3 ft tall) and stood up in front of me. Absolutely terrifying!!! In Alaska we get a lot of bear in neighborhoods, this is one that was injured somehow and being nursed back to heath at the center. Sorry for the long answer. Have a great day!!

annmariesaved @sourdough907 Wow! Thanks for explaining the details of that! I’m sure it was a little frightening to have a huge grizzly standing up in front of you, to say the least! I live in the Northeast so it’s black bear that we see here. Had a momma and her babies run in front of us at resort we were staying at in New Hampshire a few years ago, That’s the closest I’ve been to a 🐻 , besides at the zoo, lol. Anyway, neat picture! Thanks for sharing :-)
