tlo97 Hi, thank you for welcoming me!! I haven’t done this in a long time . Can you tell me how shipping costs work ? I saw that I get a free shipping label and posh keeps 20% , but what about expedited shipping? How does that work?

bees_tique @tlo97 anything 5pounds and under is free shipping for the seller, but over 5 pounds we have to pay the extra fees, which can get pricy. All shipping is 1-3 days so there's no need to expedite shipping unless you want to pay for it out of pocket. Hope this helps! 😁

tlo97 @brianamcgann if there happens to be a bundle of greater than 5lbs , how do I handle extra shipping? Just eat it? Lol I can’t afford to do that yet! Lol. Is there a possible solution just in case I run into that issue? Thx so much for your help !

bees_tique @tlo97 go to frequently asked questions and type in "My package weighs over 5 pounds. How do I upgrade my shipping label?". That will show you how much each extra pound is and how to get an upgraded label. I just had a bundle of 7 items that I sold but I went to weigh it and it was over 10 pounds so I asked the buyer if it would be okay if I broke the bundle into two separate orders and I'd pay the $6.67 or whatever it is shipping because 10 pounds is about $20 for me to pay.

bees_tique @tlo97 continued... She said yes, so I had to cancel the order. It gets confusing, but if you ever get caught in a weird situation that no posher knows the answer to you can always email Poshmark and they can help.

bees_tique @duckyrich they will mostly be sharing your items to their followers on Posh or to the parties that are held every day, if your items qualify for it, otherwise when they share your item to other places, such as Twitter or Instagram, poshmarks notification tell you that.

bees_tique @duckyrich You're very welcome! When you press the little icon of the two arrows creating a small rectangle that's in the bottom left corner of the item, it'll show all the places you can share it. At the very top should say "followers" and you click that. ♥️

mindalea I have a question! Just joined , put my first listing and received a response within minutes. The girl asked me to text her regarding jacket I’m selling, sent me her number but I deleted the “meet your posher” on accident. I think that’s were she posted.. anyway for me to retrieve that? If not, I lost my first sale already. Smh.

bees_tique @mindalea I'd highly recommend never texting/emailing anyone who comments regarding your items because 95% of them are scammers! If you're ever unsure if they're truly interested or a scammer you could say something like this to them "Thanks so much for showing an interest in my item! I am happy to answer any and all of your questions about this item right here on Poshmark :) "

bees_tique @duckyrich if you have items eligible for a party then you can share your item in it and it'll display to whoever is currently viewing the party (which can be anyone who has a poshmark account). For example, if there's a dress, skirt, suit party you can share any of those items to it. At 10pm eastern time there's a party that'll be open to all items so you should join then and share your items! 😀

bees_tique @duckyrich hi Kimber, there's nothing special you can do for a final markdown, but if you want to proclaim a final markdown you can edit your items' titles and put something like "FINAL SALE- WILL BE DONATING" and in the description you could put the final day you'll keep the item (s) posted before donating them. Hope this helps!

If sent to another state, then they process the extra mail after their states mail has been processed." I hope this helps! 🙂

bees_tique @sweetiestephens Hi Brooke, I have the jeans all packaged up and ready to go. The only issue right now is that it's snowing where I am and I don't feel safe driving in the snow. I'm definitely going to send this package off no later than tomorrow though! The label says it will take approximately 3 days to get to you, but it could possibly be a little longer due to the post office still being backed up from the holiday season.
