@closetoneeleven -just sold my first item and I'm disappointed in the amount that was deducted. I'm assuming this is due to shipping. How do I get the buyer to pay for shipping?

@blynn3 Congratulations! Yes, the fee is 20% and the buyer should be paying for the shipping. Unless, you did a special deal with them. Check your settings and make sure that you don't have it set up that you pay for shipping.

@closetoneeleven -sorry for the ignorant question, but how do I check the settings? I sold an item for $40, don't think I agreed to pay for shipping, but only made $32.

@blynn3 Not a problem. 20% of $40 is $8 which yielded you a profit if $32. That calculation is correct and the paid for shipping. Be sure to think about the percentage when you think about your pricing.
