Hey girl! I love that pic of you and your baby😊 Welcome to Posh! It's seriously the most addicting thing ever!!! Lol. @brittball89 I hear you girl! I also have toxic shopping syndrome and Posh is like crack to us shopaholics! My husband actually got mad at me for like the first month after I made a Posh account and started shopping because I was literally on my phone 24/7 looking at clothes and MK handbags! 😂 I was on posh within 10 minutes of waking up in the morning, all day at work, and all evening after I got home from work until I went to bed!!!

@brittball89 I'm doing what you are now though and doing my best not to buy anything...just sell stuff...it's sooo hard though😩 my first tip is to go to the little icon on the top left corner of the app and just start following as many people as possible. The more people you follow, who will then follow you, the better because when you add new things, all your followers will see what you've listed!

@brittball89 You also wanna make sure the pics of the items you're listing are clear and add as many pics as possible. Also, you want to make a super detailed description of each listing. People wanna know inseam lengths of jeans, how many inches a shirt is from the top to the bottom, etc. I've gotta get ready for church now, but I'll be back with more tips later😀

@brittball89 The stuff I just told you is just the tip of the iceberg and probably stuff you already knew, but there's a lot more you need to know to get your closet noticed and sell things for as much as possible since the selling fee on Posh is 20%. I hope this helped a little to start with though🙂

I got a dress form for pretty cheap at hobby lobby and I put most my clothes on it so I don't have to model stuff because I hate the way I look in pictures! Lol. But I do occasionally model shoes for listing pics, but only from my knees down! Lol😂😂😂

@brittball89 Okay, so I'm back with more tips😀 So, back to the thing about following other people and getting other people to follow you, you also wanna share as many of other peoples listings as possible because most of them will share your listings in return...like, when someone follows me, I follow them back and also share at least 3 items from their closet. When other people share your listings, all of the people following them see your listings!

@brittball89 The Posh parties are also an awesome way to get your stuff noticed. I usually try and share all the items I have that fall under the theme of each party at least like 4 times during the party because the parties usually last a couple hours. Oh, and when you start adding more clothes to your closet, it's also good idea to organize your closet with little graphic sign things like tops, jeans, dresses, kids clothes, etc.

@brittball89 It makes it easier for people to scroll down through your closet and find what they're looking for once you've added around 100 items to your closet. When you're looking through other people's closets, keep an eye out for other people's cute signs (and the tops, jeans, & kids clothes signs) and click on the listing, click on the picture so it's full size on your screen and then screen shot it so you can use the picture to make a listing w/ it on your page😊

@brittball89 When I list something new to my closet, I always price it at least $10 or $15 more than what I'm hoping to get for it...and then after at least 5 people have 'liked' an item I've added, then I start lowering the price of the item in small increments...when you lower the price of an item people have 'liked' they get notified that you've lowered the price and a lot of the time, they'll be offered a lower shipping rate if they purchase the item within an hour of you lowering the price.

Also, some people will try to discuss prices in the comments below your listings...you don't wanna let ppl know your lowest price on an item. So, when someone tries to discuss the price of an item in the comments below the item I'm selling, I always just say something like, "I'm taking reasonable offers through the offer button, thanks for checking out my closet!"

@brittball89 You have to print the shipping label from your email address, get a free envelope from the post office, and they can tape the label on for you until you can get your own clear packing tape to stick the label on. Also, when you're at the post office, grab a bunch of the free priority boxes and envelopes, so next time you make a sale, you can just have the item all packed up and ready to go and just drop it off at the post office 😀

A lot of times I'll get my stuff all packed up in a box with the label on it and leave it out front for the mail carrier to pick up, but on the days I'm sending out like 10 packages, I go ahead and take em to the post office! Lol

@brittball89 So, I woke up at like 5 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep...so I was checking out other people's closets and found some basic signs for you to organize your listings by tops, bottoms, handbags, kids, etc....if you even wanna do that. You don't necessarily have to, but I'm a little OCD sometimes (and I do think it makes your closet easier to navigate for potential buyers.

@sdeck32 Hey sis, thank you so much. You can do it, or you can have someone else model them for you or you can just Google the item and screen shot it. Some pictures don't have the back so you can then just take a picture of the back, and also make sure it's the same exact item so the seller can see it on and off.

When you click on the icon on the bottom right corner of the Posh app until it goes to the screen where it lists out closet, my purchases, my sales, my Posh stats...click on 'My Posh Stats' and it'll list the criteria to be a Posh Ambassador and tell you your status on how far along you are😀 I'm so lame to be so excited about this, but I can't help myself! Lol!

I'm the opposite...I can be a ppl person when I wanna be, but I prefer the quiet and not having lots of ppl in the house at once! Lol! It makes being a preacher's wife challenging at times, but I do all the behind the scenes work, like re-doing the nursery at church🙂 I just made some awesome roman shades outta regular, cheap, old mini blinds and hung them in the nursery!

I'm actually a nurse and have a masters degree in nursing...but I got so super burned out! Nursing is the most emotionally and physically draining job on the planet!!!!

It took me a week to finish both of them. It's all the measuring that goes into it that makes it so time consuming with the wide blinds. It only takes me maybe an hour and a half to do the regular size mini blinds! They're way easier to work with!

I keep my license up to date, but I haven't worked in healthcare in almost 2 years now. I could talk for days about the patient neglect and lack in continuity of care that goes on in every hospital and every part of the healthcare industry all over the U.S.,

Hey girl! I just checked out your stats! Have you met Posh Ambassador criteria yet? I contacted Posh support and attached a screen shot of the screen where you can see your Posh stats where it showed I was at 100% completion on the criteria and they emailed me later that day with a congratulations for becoming a Posh ambassador. You gotta message them about it though, or it could take forever for them to change your status!

Okay, so you were totally right...the stuff I tried on and took pics of sold like ASAP. I just hate the way I look in pictures....ughhh! Why are women so hard on themselves! You're beautiful and confident at any weight because you have a pretty face....but I don't feel confident in my body unless I weigh 110-115lbs because I don't have a pretty face like you do...and because I have Graves' Disease, I barely have any hair without my hair extensions in...ughhh!
