grandamgt97 @kelly24_48 lol ok great, my question is when selling something for example $5....do I need to add shipping to the price? Instead of posting it for $5 it would be $11 after shipping or do I just put the $5?

now_own_this @grandamgt97 You can sell your items for whatever you want & just take into account that Poshmark will be taking their cut so you might want to figure that in. The buyer pays the shipping cost so you don’t have to figure that into your item. When you list an item & go through the listing process & you enter your listing price it will show you what your earnings will be before you submit. Hope that helps.

grandamgt97 @kelly24_48 I just thought of another question, when I sell an item does it have to be shipped in a box? Can I ship it in a package envelope?

now_own_this @grandamgt97 As long as it’s an approved shipping envelope. I get mine from the post office. The priority boxes are free & my mailman brings them to me. I find that to be easiest. Make sure you review the Poshmark guidelines/tips on how to ship & what to use for more information. Hope that helps.

grandamgt97 @kelly24_48 I’ve got priority padded flat rate envelopes from the post office, would that work? The guidelines didn’t say anything about the padded envelopes 😳

now_own_this @grandamgt97 I would think so being that you got them from the post office. If you want to be 100% sure you can always contact Poshmark support & upload a picture of the envelope for them to verify, but I’m thinking you should be fine.
