sebq Hi Brooke, the bust laying flat is almost 21" which wld be about 42". I believe I mentioned that there is a zipper on one side but never required it to be unzipped to put on but it is there Any more questions please just ask. Thx. GREAT CLOSET BTW!!!!😊
