northern_light Hi @something2see! No I haven't but it's on my "bucket list"... I also need to see a solar eclipse (coming to parts of the U.S. in 2024 BTW, including Cleveland where I am!) And I also need to see the long view of the Milky Way in our night sky, I think you have to be almost in the southern hemisphere to see that.. I'm sure you've seen pics, but Google "milky way sky images" to see some great pics. If you guys ever make a run to go up & see the northern lights, count me in!! :D

retropaisley Hi Bryan! Thanks for the shares! Your origami is really cool! I saw the Northern Lights many times when I lived in & around Fairbanks, AK. We'd get the best view when we'd get waayyy out in the middle of nowhere & away from city lights (or ANY lights! lol) Besides the Northern Lights, when you're way out there you see stars like you can't even imagine! The only problem is that it's sooo cold because you can only see them in the Winter when it's darkest. Go someday. You'll be glad you did! 💖

northern_light @retropaisley Your description sounds like HEAVEN to me (except for the cold haha). Would you believe that the lights were just visible in Cleveland about a month ago?!?! And I missed it :( But I'm sure it was just a tiny glimpse of what you've witnessed, it wouldn't really have counted anyway (ha). retropaisley Hi,Bryan. I need anAM/FM radio that's sturdy, dependable. Ours broke last hurricane season (during Hurricane Ida, which, quite literally, wiped my town off the map) so I need a new one.
