marceesfinds @l8ybird I Dropped the Wedges off late last night at the local postal hub for our area. Not sure why the tracking hasn’t shown up yet. Poshmark just sent me a reminder to ship but I wanted to let you know I did. I’m not sure what your experience has been this past year but it seems like sometimes things are held a day or so before they start tracking. I was thinking since you are in CA too that wouldn’t happen. I’ll keep my eye on it🌻❤️🌻

marceesfinds @l8ybird your right that was my other sale I mailed out yesterday was CA.👍🏻😎 I lived in Dayton when I was a kid for a couple years while my dad was doing a medical residency there. I just remember it being really cold🥶

marceesfinds @l8ybird Yes my dad did a Residency at a Hospital there in Kettering. He’s now a retired OBGYN. Also I looked at the pictures I took of the shipping label for your shoes as I take pictures of all my items whiles I’m packing them. The address says Poshmark Facility and it’s in Newark CA. I looked back on the address on the listing as if to purchase another label for your shoes and that’s the address you have for this sale. Is that correct?

l8ybird @marceesfinds ohhhh I see now. So poshmark does “authentication” on orders over $500. Because of luxury brands people sell on here they check to make sure they arnt fakes. In this instance this authentication isn’t necessary since these are vintage. But that’s why it automatically went straight to them first. Once they “authenticate” then they will ship them to me.

l8ybird @marceesfinds yes, but it might not hurt to confirm this with poshmark. I bought some Prada shoes recently and even on its way to the facility it didn’t have the “pending scan” thing, it just said shipped. Also I’m not sure why they would remind you to ship? So it might be worth the peace of mind to make sure they can confirm that they are in transit.

marceesfinds @l8ybird I went to the post office with the tracking number yesterday. I’ve had a PO Box there for my Healthcare Co for years so they know me well. They imputed the number in their advanced tracking and it started tracking🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t get it but it appears it’s on its way now.👍🏻😎❤️🌻

marceesfinds So glad you got the Wonder Wedges Finally and are happy with them❤️. Sorry the buckle came off. I didn’t notice it being loose or damaged when I packed them. akamoruso Hi!Kind of a random question,but I was searching for a specific pair of Prada bamboo wedges & came across the ones you purchased.I just bought a pair of my own(yay!) but it seems like we have the same issue in that they’re a little tight.I was wondering if you had any suggestions for stretching them?Did you end up stretching them yourself or taking them to a cobbler?They are so unique and special—I have to make them fit somehow!! Haha.Any tips or tricks would be appreciated :)

l8ybird @akamoruso hi! Well I did use just basic shoe stretchers, and they worked a little bit, but mostly I just wore them around for like an hour and that helped a lot, still a little snug though. For shoes this expensive though, I would recommend taking them to a professional. It’s easy to stretch them too much and risk lifting the sole from the platform 😱 But even stretched, I do wish they were just a tiny bit longer.

akamoruso @l8ybird Almost the same! Mine are the same wedge & mary jane style, but they don't cross over on the top of the foot and have more a little more coverage/material on the sides. My husband let me know that I now match our living room--I definitelyy have a thing for bamboo, haha.
