teresaeggs @cleong18 hi… i’m relatively new to posh and I have a question. I have noticed that you have shared an action figure on my page many times today. While I appreciate the share, I am wondering why you share the same thing over and over? I hope you don’t take offense to my question but I’m really trying to learn. Not only you have shared this item, dozens and dozens of people have shared this item today and I simply don’t get why! Any feedback would be appreciated.

sorsatelier @teresaeggs hi! I take the time a few times a day to share whatever comes up in my feed, and many other active sellers do the same. When you share your closet on your own or make a new listing, other people on the platform are able to see it and share it to their followers’ feeds as well, which can increase the visibility of a listing and improve the chance it will sell!

sorsatelier @teresaeggs My guess is that this particular listing came up in a lot of peoples’ feed today, which is why it has been shared so many times. If the sharing notifications bother you, you can adjust the notification settings to turn them off so you won’t see them, and you don’t have to return shares if you prefer not to! Mutual sharing may help improve your chances of a listing being seen by a potential buyer, but it’s not a requirement to make sales. ☺️ I hope this information is helpful!
