I'm all for sharing :) I was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthirits at 16, and they put me on strong medications which I noticed soon after were making my stomach upset. From there it got worse and I was always bloated and had stomach pain daily so after a few years and many trials I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. When that happened I lost 10% of my body Weight so it took me Quite a while to get back to a healthy weight.

adventure_frame @plriley But yeah not fun and in my link there's a blog where I try and write about my experiences or recipes ect to help others because chronic illness suck!!!! (Also the main reason I sell all my clothes after wearing like once is because I just don't feel comfortable knowing I may look pregnant by the end of the day😂) posh has saved my life in not spending too much on stuff and being able to be choosy about my closet and still feel great!

I've found diet a huge factor in my health but no trust me I cried the other day because the day after shoveling I couldn't write without my hands hurting. Sickness has no place in our world!!

My best friend is a photographer so the cool ones are from her (more to come tomorrow, as we did a photo shoot today) but the rest are me just putting the phone on timer ☺️ It is kind of a lot of work but In hopes that the buyer will be more enticed by seeing how it fits of course...lol.

gratefulstyles Hi!😊 I read and empathize with your personal struggle. My niece who is 15 suffers from juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, diagnosis at 8 months old. Big weight swings from meds. I am praying for you. You are strong.

I've found diet and holistic medicine to be the most beneficial for symptoms, but yeah its not cheap...$1,000 in the last month on supplements blood tests ect. Thank you. Our God is good though isn't he? He is what brings me through the hardest times and moments of thinking it will never end. Last Sunday our service was on how we can consider trials for God's good of his plan. Tough when you are going through something but my reward is in heaven. Amen!

gratefulstyles Yes, our God is so good. I suffered a brain tumor. I am well now. My meds leave side affects but how grateful I am for each day! I get a sense that maybe you can nurture and talk of your disease to people of all ages who suffer. It can change their life. Such a blessing!

Today was a particularly frustrating day as I'm trying to get a referral to go to a new doctor but my current clinic says it will not release information w/out it being requested by the doc I want to go see and the one I want to see says they can not ask for the information from another clinic....

sgt_wunder @simpscam hello! I was reading your story on your comments section and wanted to reach out!! I, too, was diagnosed with Crohn's, 5 years ago. It was definitely quite a struggle to get the correct diagnosis, bit it finally answered 10+ years of symptoms! I am a nurse and did GI nursing until about 18 months ago when i woke up in the ICU after 5 days of unknowingly being in a coma on a ventilator. I was at that time diagnosed with congestive heart failure and epilepsy.

Our bodies are so important and yet such a struggle for so many 😓 I actually just had a colonoscopy last week again because the doctors aren't convinced mine Is crohns but if it's not I think in a way I'll be even more on edge knowing they still can't give me an answer to feel better 🤕 Posh is my fave for the same reasons!! Something doesn't fit-sell don't dwell. Lol.

sgt_wunder @simpscam my last colpnoscopy they told me i was in histological remission from my meds and they aren't convinced its Crohn's's, either! Because of our young age, it cam be a huge problem to get the right diagnosis!! And the only true mark of Crohn's is granuloma tissue on biopsy. I never had that, but i also didn't have intestinal injury consistent with ulcerative colitis! So i sticking with my first diagnosis, i am going to continue my meds and see how it goes.

sgt_wunder @simpscam i would encourage you to advocate for yourself and any treatment that makes you feel better. Rarely do we fit in IBD boxes with textbook symptoms and treatment, but that doesnt mean we need to keep going to the doctor and spending all of our money! I have a huge resource at my previous job, so if there is ever anything you have questions about, let me know!!

adventure_frame @sgt_wunder yeah we'll see what they say at my results app. So far I haven't gone the traditional meds route though I've been dealing with this for 6yrs! I've always done holistic care and food sensitivity testing, supplements, diets, food elimination ect ect. So my parents were finally worried enough they insisted I try being put on drugs for some help. But we'll see 😬 I'm not a huge fan and don't understand why I've had a migraine:headache ever since waking up after a nap from my colonoscopy 😞
