@chooli my asking price is so high because poshmark’s fees are so high. I just found a pre owned version of my hoodie on eBay for $400. Therefore, mine being new is worth $800-$1,000.

It happened to me several times and I did get my money back but it took a lot of researching how they get it with it. All I can say is it’s really sad how Poshmark looks the other way. It’s because of how Poshmark sends the mailing labels. They are then altered. Best advise I can give it don’t buy from someone who recently starts an account or if it happens again immediately right after it has said its delivered. Report to Poshmark as delivery not as described. I’m sorry it’s a yucky feeling.

@wendyb49 I refuse to buy from a new account. I also look at their profile and when they joined, and if they have any notes from people who have purchased. I never got my money back. The person even deleted their whole account after it happened. I’ve spent a decent amount of money on Posh. I even told them to look at my history, there have been no issues. I almost deleted my account here. I did however, download M-Cari. I do a lot more shopping there since it happened.

@chooli I figured out how they scam you. If you look when it says a package has been delivered. It’s actually not to your address. It’s your zip code. So, they mail a phony envelope to your neighbor and gps picks it up as your address. I actually intercepted one. It was an envelope with nothing in it mailed to my neighbor. It didn’t have my name Only resident. Poshmark could careless as I reported to them. Actually has their label and everything but wrong info.

Then to top it off. You think it’s delivered and 3 days goes by and they release the money to the seller. As you think post office made the mistake.

@wendyb49 I had no clue. Posh was telling me to check around the house and with my neighbors. Which I honestly did! You would think they would know about this scam and try to fix it. And that’s amazing you intercepted the envelope! Crazy how people get away with these things.
