Do you have any one piece swimsuits for swim practices, and I have a swim related question but do you wear your suits under clothes while driving in the car to your meets or practices eliminating having to change, just jump into warmups, just curious what other swimmers do and if it works.

Hi!! I did post a Jolyn I will look to see if I have more that are in good condition that haven’t been worn! During covid I have been wearing my suit to and from the pool to eliminate being in the locker room. It just depends where I’m coming from! normally I would change into my suit bc practice is after school but for a weekend practice i just put my suit on at home which helps!! If you have any more swim q please let me know! I will post probably a couple more swim related things!

@carlycasswell oh ok, I just started swimming so want to know what other swimmers do for there routines and what works, do you normally just drive back home in the car wearing the suit after practice and change/shower once there making it easier how do you prevent the car seats from getting wet too.

Oh that’s so awesome!! So before covid I always changed after practice, a lot of girls shower or rinse after, i just changed because it’s not always good to sit in a wet bathing suit for awhile! Where I swim now we are not allowed to use the locker rooms because of restrictions so I have to wear my suit home. This isn’t ideal but i usually put a towel on my seat. and make sure to dry off extra good!

@carlycasswell Isn’t it uncomfortable though after awhile or just don’t even really notice when your driving in a suit I haven’t figured out what works best for me routine wise, like tie backs for instance sometimes you’re like leaning on the knot and that kind of hurts after a while but with other brand suits i mean it’s like fine, if I had to wear one in the car.

@cassigraf ya i do find it uncomfy sometimes if the suits tight. If you’re wearing a tie back you could always untie it once you get in your car! That’s what I do when i wear a tieback home!!!
